Prize-winning Babies at May Day-Health Program

One of the great strives made by the Farm Security Administration (FSA) was the introduction of improved health care. This was particularly important in regards to obstetrics, and was readily embraced by most mothers, who previously had received little, if any care during their pregnancies.

    The building in the background here is the old Irwinville auditorium that was next to the other school house.
